Taste, Tour, and Travel by Rail August Wine Trains and Scenic Rides Roll into the Valley

The Northwest Railway Museum announces its Wine Train excursions on August 8 and 28, inviting guests 21 and older to experience local wines for $99. Each ticket includes a souvenir wine glass and eight tokens for 1-ounce tasting pours from Snoqualmie Valley wineries. The event spans 2. 5 to 3 hours, with tastings at both the Snoqualmie Depot and the Train Shed Exhibit Hall, beginning at 5:00 p. m.

The August 8 excursion will feature Alveare Winery, enhancing the local flavor. Additionally, the museum offers family-friendly Ride the Rails excursions on August 2 and 3, priced at $28 for adults and $14 for children. This scenic 2-hour roundtrip departs from North Bend, showcasing the picturesque upper Snoqualmie Valley. If tickets sell out for North Bend, guests can board at the Snoqualmie Depot instead. The museum's summer offerings aim to entertain both wine enthusiasts and families alike.
