Downtown Snoqualmie faces increased traffic over the next three weekends due to the Day Out with Thomas event, scheduled for July 11-13, July 18-20, and July 25-27, 2025. Hosted by the Northwest Railway Museum, the event draws families from across the Puget Sound region for rides on Thomas the Tank Engine. Trains will operate daily from 9:00 a. m. to 4:00 p.

m. , providing a ten-minute ride to the Railway History Campus. Guests will enjoy an hour of activities before re-boarding for an excursion to Snoqualmie Falls. While the event does not include downtown road closures, residents should prepare for increased congestion and limited parking around the Depot and Railroad Avenue.
