North Bend and Snoqualmie Remind Residents to Follow Fireworks Laws for a Safe Fourth of July

Snoqualmie, WALocal News

North Bend and Snoqualmie are urging residents to prioritize safety by following fireworks regulations for Independence Day celebrations. Fireworks may only be discharged on July 4 from 9 a. m. to midnight, and aerial devices are strictly prohibited in both cities. Snoqualmie's annual Red, White & Boom celebration will feature a professional fireworks display, encouraging residents to enjoy the event instead of using personal fireworks.

Fire and Police Departments will patrol for violations to prevent injuries and wildfires. Residents should keep pets indoors and have water nearby when using fireworks, which should only be handled by adults. After use, residents must clean up debris and properly soak used fireworks in water. The cities provide detailed guidance on legal fireworks and safety measures, emphasizing community well-being. For any illegal activity or emergencies, residents can contact emergency services by calling 911.
