Everett rowers make waves Two crews at Nationals

The Everett Rowing Association recently qualified two boats for the USRowing National Championship after performing well at the Northwest Regional Rowing Championships. The Men’s Youth Varsity 8+, guided by coxswain Dalton Mara, achieved a second-place finish, while the Men’s Youth Junior Varsity 8+ crew, led by coxswain Finn Kluth, secured third place. Coach David Steele highlighted the team's commitment, practicing six days a week on the Snohomish River, which offers unique challenges compared to calmer lakes. As summer approaches, Everett Rowing plans to launch various youth programs starting June 30 to enhance rowing skills and physical fitness. Offerings include Learn to Row classes for beginners and High Performance Camps for experienced rowers.
