Snohomish County invites public comments on the Draft 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and 2025 Annual Action Plan until May 8, 2025, to shape future housing and community development investments. These documents are vital in directing federal funds from programs such as CDBG, HOME, and ESG to assist low- and moderate-income residents. The county partnered with Everett and Marysville to develop the plans, which include a needs assessment and strategic goals for the next five years. A virtual public hearing is scheduled for April 23, 2025, at 9:00 am to discuss the plans. Interested residents can review the draft documents online and submit comments via email or traditional mail.

The plans will guide funding decisions from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2030. The engagement process emphasizes community participation in addressing critical local needs. Written comments can be directed to Debra May at the Human Services Department.
