Everett credit unions seeking donations for child victim center

Snohomish, WALocal News

Five local credit unions in Everett are joining forces to support Dawson Place, a nonprofit that assists child victims of abuse. This donation drive is set to run until April 30, focusing on items for teens such as art supplies, duffel bags, and warm clothing. Community members can conveniently drop off their donations at branches of SnoCope, Mill Town, and other participating credit unions in the area. The items collected will be delivered on May 6, in conjunction with additional contributions from the credit unions themselves. Last year's campaign raised an impressive $2,559, showcasing the community's generosity.

The credit unions are specifically requesting gift cards for teen clothing stores and gaming platforms to further enhance their support. This initiative not only meets immediate needs but also encourages community engagement in addressing critical social issues. By participating, residents can make a tangible difference in the lives of local youth affected by trauma.
