The Washington Wolfpack are ready to launch their second season of arena football on March 16, 2025, in the newly formed Arena Football One (AF1) league. Transitioning from the now-defunct Arena Football League, the Wolfpack's revamped roster and training methods aim to enhance their competitive edge. Team spokesperson Jonathan West highlighted the players' commitment to winning, stating they are more disciplined and prepared than ever before. The Wolfpack features a diverse lineup of 24 players, many returning from last season, but with significant changes to the offense and defense. In a proactive move to reduce injuries, the team has relocated its training from the Snohomish Sports Dome to outdoor synthetic turf fields at local schools.

Their season opener will be against the Billings Outlaws, last year's AFL champions, in a match expected to draw considerable local interest. With six home games scheduled at Everett's Angel of the Winds Arena, the Wolfpack is poised for an exciting season. Fans can tune in to the live broadcast of the opening game on VICE Sports, marking a thrilling return of arena football to the region.
