Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin secured re-election, winning 55% of the vote against challenger Scott Murphy, who criticized her leadership. In a concession message, Murphy pledged to continue working for the city’s future. Judge Tam Bui achieved a victory in the State Court of Appeals race, garnering 52% of the votes against Karen Moore. The Everett City Council had close contests, particularly in District 1, where Erica Weir is poised to replace Mary Fosse. The Snohomish School Board welcomed Sarah Adams, who won her seat with 55% of the vote, while Jay Hagen's long tenure ended.

Lake Stevens City Council faced significant changes, with two incumbents defeated and one seat still undecided. A half a million dollars was spent on the Everett mayoral race, highlighting its competitive nature. Voter engagement in these local elections reflects the community's interest in leadership and governance.
