Snohomishs new City Engineer looking ahead

Sukhpreet “Monty” Dhaliwal has rejoined the City of Snohomish as the City Engineer, ready to tackle the pressing infrastructure needs of the community. He previously served as a project engineer in Snohomish before spending four years in Blaine, bringing valuable experience back to the city. Dhaliwal emphasizes the importance of addressing aging systems and improving drainage and stormwater management to meet both current demands and future growth. He is committed to implementing sustainable design practices that will adapt to evolving community needs while respecting the city's historic charm. The former city engineer, Yosh Monzaki, retired in the spring, creating an opportunity for Dhaliwal to shape the future of Snohomish.
