Man set fires at two Everett adult stores

A man set fire to two adult stores in Everett on October 1, endangering employees and customers inside. The 48-year-old transient allegedly lit gasoline at Airport Adult Video and later at The Love Zone, which was closed but had an employee present. Police located him nearby, where he threw a stick at officers and was subsequently bitten by a K-9. Authorities discovered meth in his possession, and his criminal record has been increasing since last year. A mental health evaluation revealed he views pornography as a serious issue, stating, “Americans are sick mentally.

” He now faces two counts of first-degree arson and one count of drug possession. The incidents raise concerns about public safety and mental health issues in the community. Local law enforcement will likely increase patrols in the area to prevent similar incidents.
