2025 Assessed Values Notices in the Mail

Snohomish, WALocal News

Snohomish County property owners will receive new assessment notices by June 27, 2025, with residential property values increasing by an average of 6. 26% and commercial values rising by 2. 68% from the 2024 market. These assessments reflect real estate sales as of January 1, 2025, and property owners are encouraged to verify their property characteristics on the Assessor's website. To appeal an assessment, property owners must contact the Assessor’s Office within 60 days of receiving their notice.

The office emphasizes that many concerns can be resolved through direct communication with appraisers, who are available for consultation. Resources on the Assessor’s website include tools for checking property values and accessing tax relief programs. The assessment process is designed to ensure that property values align with current market conditions. New construction assessments will also be added to the rolls, with notices sent in the fall. County Assessor Linda Hjelle highlights the importance of understanding assessed values and the appeal process for property owners.
