Snohomish, WALocal News

The annual Snohomish Studio Tour will take place on September 27 and 28, featuring 27 artists across 13 studios. Local artists Jennifer Oak and Nikki Gardner launched the tour to provide a space for artists to connect with the community, as Snohomish lacked an art center. The event will showcase various artistic disciplines, including painting, jewelry-making, ceramics, and woodworking. Attendees can enjoy live music and coffee provided by Proper Joe Coffeehouse at multiple locations. A free shuttle service will be available for visitors to navigate the studios, while a giveaway for an overnight stay at the Cat’s Meow Airbnb adds excitement.

The tour has grown significantly since its inception, reflecting a vibrant art scene in Snohomish. Gardner emphasized the importance of building connections as an artist, stating, “It’s really about the connections that you’re making. ” The tour aims to create a welcoming experience for all, regardless of their familiarity with art.
