Monroe hospital has openings for advisers

EvergreenHealth Monroe is currently recruiting volunteers for its Community Adviser program, which plays a crucial role in influencing local healthcare services. Community Advisors engage with the organization’s board and administrative leaders as ambassadors, offering insights on community health needs. They attend four educational sessions each year that address pressing healthcare issues and explore the services provided by EvergreenHealth Monroe. Advisors serve three-year terms, which can be renewed, up to a maximum of nine years. Applicants must reside within the EvergreenHealth Monroe District, which includes Monroe, Snohomish, Sultan, Gold Bar, and Index.

Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a background in community involvement or healthcare. Applications are due by September 26 and can be submitted online or via email. This initiative underscores the importance of community engagement in shaping local health services.
