Snohomish County Seeking Applicants for Affordable Housing Emergency Bridge and Shelter Housing Projects

Snohomish County is actively seeking applications for affordable housing projects, including homebuyer downpayment assistance and emergency shelter housing. An estimated $1,054,917 in federal HOME funds will be available for the 2026 program year, with additional AHBH funds to be determined. Nonprofit organizations, for-profit developers, and government agencies are encouraged to apply. Interested applicants must participate in virtual information sessions scheduled for August 26 and 28, where they will receive detailed information about funding opportunities. The first hour will focus on HOME funds, while the second will address AHBH funding.

Applications must be submitted by September 15, 2025, by 4 p. m. to the Snohomish County Human Services Department. The initiative aims to support low-income individuals and families in Snohomish County. The Housing & Community Services Division administers various programs to ensure the community's basic needs are met.
