Evergreen State Fair to Host Healthy Communities Day on August 26

The Evergreen State Fair is set to host its Healthy Communities Day on August 26, emphasizing the importance of health and wellness in Snohomish County. In partnership with the Snohomish County Health Department, the event will offer a variety of booths, interactive displays, and wellness-related activities for attendees. Dr. James Lewis highlighted the role of local organizations in providing essential health services to the community, stating, “Together, we’re creating a stronger, healthier Snohomish County. ” The Fair will also feature Evergreen Morning of Dreams, designed for individuals who experience sensory overload.

This quieter event allows participants to enjoy the fair without overwhelming stimuli. Children aged 6-12 can enter for $7, and regular admission includes access to Healthy Communities Day activities. Fair gates will open at 10:30 a. m. and close at 10 p.
