Everett pianos return for August 2025

Snohomish, WALocal News

The Street Tunes program in Everett features 10 public pianos available for play from August 1 to August 28, promoting community engagement through music. Each piano, decorated by local artists, is accessible during daylight hours at diverse locations, including downtown and the Evergreen branch library. Most of the pianos were donated, reflecting community support for the initiative. This year, the city broadened the locations of the pianos, adding sites like The Village on Casino Road and the Port of Everett at Hotel Indigo. The program aims to enhance public spaces and foster a sense of community among residents.

The initiative has become a staple of Everett's summer activities, inviting residents and visitors alike to enjoy music in public areas. For more details on the locations of the pianos, visit www. everettwa. gov/streettunes. Community involvement remains a key aspect of the program's success.
