Everett softly opens dog park at Clark Park

Snohomish, WALocal News

The dog park at Clark Park in Everett reopened earlier this month, as confirmed by city spokeswoman Simone Tarver. This new facility replaces the longstanding Clark Park Gazebo, which had been a fixture in the park for many years. The city plans a grand opening event on Tuesday, July 29 at 4 p. m. to celebrate the park's transformation.

Dog parks are increasingly popular community spaces that foster social interaction among pets and their owners. By replacing the gazebo with a dog park, the city aims to enhance recreational options and promote community engagement. Local dog owners have expressed enthusiasm for the new park, which is expected to become a gathering spot for pet lovers. The addition of this facility illustrates Everett's commitment to providing diverse recreational opportunities for its residents.
