This escalation follows a countywide burn ban that has been in effect since July 1, 2025, suspending all outdoor burn permits until further notice. The county's Outdoor Burning Information Hotline at 425-388-3508 provides residents with timely updates on fire regulations. Officials emphasize that the burn ban will remain in place even after the Red Flag Warning has passed, highlighting the ongoing risk. The Snohomish County Department of Planning and Development Services oversees these regulations, ensuring safety amid extreme weather conditions.
