"Drinking Habits," a farcical play by Tom Smith, will be performed by the Edmonds Driftwood Players from May 16 to June 8, 2025, at the Wade James Theatre. The narrative follows two nuns who secretly make wine to keep their convent open while two journalists infiltrate the convent disguised as a nun and a priest. This leads to a series of comedic situations filled with lies and mistaken identities, engaging the audience from start to finish. The production features a talented cast, including Juli Brown and Somtochukwu Muo, who excel in their roles as the comedic duo of Sister Philamena and Sister Augusta.
