Goats on the roof of the Tabernacle Baptist Church

Shoreline, WALocal News

The Tabernacle Baptist Church in Ridgecrest is undergoing significant roofing renovations by Mountain Goat Roofing, which began this week. The crew, known for their daring work, safely removed the old, leaking asphalt shingles from the steeply pitched roof of the three-story church. They have started installing new underlayment, with plans to follow up with fresh shakes, ridge caps, and gutters. Originally built in 1946, the church is a prominent structure at the northeast corner of 8th Ave NE & NE 165th. Local residents can observe the renovations, which serve to preserve the building's integrity and enhance neighborhood aesthetics.

The project highlights the community's commitment to maintaining its historical architecture. A resident noted the fitting partnership with High Point Gutter for the upcoming gutter installation phase. This renovation effort reflects broader trends in local infrastructure improvements and community engagement in preserving historical sites.
