Shoreline Slam Returns 2nd Annual High School Tennis Tournament Set for July 2427, 2025

Shorewood and Shorecrest High School tennis programs will host the second annual Shoreline Slam from July 24 to 27, 2025. The previous year's tournament attracted over 160 participants from 35 schools, highlighting the event's significance in the local tennis community. Open to high school players entering grades 9–12 and 2025 graduates, the tournament will feature singles, doubles, and mixed doubles categories. Coach Rob Mann noted that hosting a junior tournament has been a long-held dream, emphasizing the importance of competition and community for young athletes. Registration is open until July 19 at 9:00 PM PST, with draws scheduled to be posted on July 21.

The event is presented by Tennis Center Sand Point, which has been a key supporter of local youth tennis. This tournament will provide players a chance to stay engaged with the sport during the summer off-season. The Shoreline Slam aims to become a standout event in the region's junior tennis calendar.
