Learn Hip Hop Dance Culture at Shoreline Community College - New Price!

Shoreline Community College launches a 6-week Hip Hop Dance & Culture course set to start on May 8, 2025, and concluding on June 12, 2025. The class welcomes participants aged 13 and older and will take place on Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:50 PM in Room 3011 of the 3000 Building Athletics. Led by Albee Abigania, founder of Kontagious Performing Company, the course covers various hip-hop dance styles, including popping, locking, and breaking. The registration fee is $159 for all six sessions, and with space limited to just 10 students, early registration is recommended. Abigania brings extensive experience, having performed with renowned artists and aiming to inspire students through dance.

The course not only teaches dance techniques but also fosters strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence. Abigania believes in the contagious nature of passion and creativity, which he intends to instill in his students. Those interested in exploring hip-hop dance are encouraged to sign up promptly.
