The Shoreline Fire Department is actively recruiting for Entry Level Firefighter positions, offering a competitive salary ranging from $7,472. 85 to $10,675. 50 per month, as stipulated in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement. Applications are being accepted from April 1 to May 23, 2025, and candidates will undergo multiple stages of assessment, including pre-screening and panel interviews, leading to employment starting in January 2026. New hires will be required to complete an 18-week Recruit Academy and EMT Class, ensuring they are well-prepared for the demands of the role.

Firefighters will engage in various responsibilities, including responding to emergencies, extinguishing fires, and providing medical assistance, while also participating in fire prevention and public education initiatives. To qualify, candidates must be at least 20 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess a valid driver’s license.
