In March 2025, the Shoreline Fire Department responded to a total of 1,259 calls, underscoring their critical role in community safety. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) accounted for an impressive 86% of these incidents, amounting to 1,085 calls. This statistic highlights the increasing reliance on EMS for urgent medical care in the area. Fire-related incidents, while significant, were less frequent, comprising 13% of the total with 159 calls. Additionally, other emergencies made up a mere 1% of the calls, totaling 15.

These figures reflect the department's readiness and commitment to protect, rescue, and serve the community effectively.
