NEMCo Community Preparedness Fair October 11, 2025

NEMCo announces a free Community Preparedness Fair scheduled for October 11, 2025, from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. at Third Place Commons in Lake Forest Park.

The fair seeks to equip families with critical safety skills to handle emergencies effectively. Attendees will engage in hands-on demonstrations, including fire suppression techniques and the use of drones. Guidance on emergency planning, first aid, and securing water and shelter will also be provided. Volunteers, vendors, and NEMCo’s emergency manager will offer insights and answer questions directly. This initiative responds to increasing community awareness and preparedness needs in light of frequent natural disasters.
