Shoreline protests continue on Sundays - Good Trouble Lives On event on July 17

Donations are encouraged but not mandatory, and Wallingford Indivisible will provide information about their projects at the event. The following event, "Good Trouble Lives On," is scheduled for July 17 from 4:30-6 p.
m. , commemorating the legacy of civil rights icon John Lewis. Attendees will participate in a rally and march, highlighting the importance of activism in changing the political landscape. Lewis, who organized the 1963 March on Washington and led the Selma to Montgomery marches, famously advocated for "good trouble" in pursuit of justice. This event not only honors his contributions but also mobilizes the community for ongoing political engagement.
Activists are encouraged to bring family-friendly signs to amplify their voices. With these events, Everyday Activists aims to foster a spirit of participation and advocacy within the local community.
