Fugitive who made Sea-Tac escape by light rail arrested in First Hill apartment

Sedrick Stevenson, who escaped custody at Sea-Tac Airport on May 5, was arrested in a First Hill apartment on Wednesday. The U. S. Marshals announced the arrest, crediting the Seattle Police Department's detectives assigned to a federal task force for their role in the capture. Stevenson had been evading authorities for several weeks after escaping while in the care of a private transport contractor for out-of-state warrants from Kentucky.
