Its crazy out there In challenging times, Capitol Hill restaurant Cook Weaver shifting to more proletariat menu
Cook Weaver will launch a more affordable menu on June 18, aiming to meet the community's needs amid challenging times. The new "neo-bistro format" will feature options from small plates paired with wine to full dinners, and it will continue to offer Chef Zac Reynolds' curated tasting menu. Reynolds stated that the restaurant is committed to improvisational cooking and supporting local farmers. This shift follows the amicable exit of co-founder Nile Klein two years ago. Cook Weaver debuted in 2016 in the historic Loveless Building, which has a rich culinary history.
The restaurant features murals by artist Vladimir Shkurkin, depicting a story from Russian folklore. By creating a warm and inviting space, Cook Weaver hopes to foster community connections through food and drinks. More details can be found at cookweaver. com.
