With clouds of nicotine, kratom, and cannabis over Capitol Hill, World of Smoke Vape coming to E Pike

Seattle, WALocal News

World of Smoke & Vape plans to open a new shop at 1021 E Pike in Seattle, enhancing the vibrant Pike/Pine nightlife district. The franchise, founded in Florida, has expanded to over 50 locations, targeting high-end markets. Owner Ameen Babul has experience in the franchise world, previously opening a shop in Queen Anne and managing Subway franchises. The new shop will neighbor Queertique, a community space for LGBTQ art and commerce, and The Wildrose, a long-standing lesbian bar. This location will occupy a subterranean space that had been empty since the closure of a previous sex shop.

World of Smoke & Vape operates within a booming $11 billion industry, focusing on retail spaces that attract similar customer demographics. The franchise emphasizes its strategic placement near major thoroughfares and businesses catering to affluent clients. This expansion reflects the ongoing intersection of nightlife and smoking culture in Seattle.
