Family of missing Arlington man pleads for help, offers 10K reward for information

Seattle, WALocal News

Jonathan Hoang, a 21-year-old man with autism, has been missing since March 30, prompting his family to offer a $10,000 reward for information leading to his return. Authorities have classified him as an endangered missing person, but they do not suspect foul play. His father, Thao Hoang, believes Jonathan was possibly abducted, stating someone may have lured him away from home. Jonathan left without his cell phone or jacket, which deviates from his usual routine as an autistic individual. A comprehensive search involving K-9 units, helicopters, and about 150 volunteers was conducted, but the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office suspended efforts in April after exhausting all leads.

The family claims the investigation was mishandled, citing a five-day delay in issuing a missing person advisory. They have hired a private investigator and sent subpoenas to tech companies to obtain data from Jonathan's iPad. The family remains hopeful for his safe return as they actively seek assistance from the public.
