Des Moines driver arrested after rampage leaves 6 vehicles damaged

A 21-year-old driver was arrested for DUI after causing significant damage to six vehicles in Des Moines, Wash. , on May 8. Witnesses reported that the suspect repeatedly rammed his car into parked vehicles, with repair costs for some estimated between $11,000 and $12,000. "He just kept going back and forth," said victim Patrick Oakley, who witnessed the destruction. Des Moines police responded quickly, taking the driver into custody after observing signs of intoxication, including difficulty walking and failing a breathalyzer test.
