Seattle Police arrested three individuals and seized 65. 5 grams of fentanyl, 3. 5 grams of methamphetamine, and $228 in cash during a narcotics operation on Harvard Ave E. The Thursday afternoon operation involved East Precinct officers and the Community Response Group, resulting in six proactive arrests. A 34-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were booked, while the identity of the third person arrested remains undisclosed.

Officers also apprehended three more individuals who were later identified and released without charges. No injuries were reported during the operation, which is part of a series of similar actions addressing persistent drug-related issues in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The alleys along Broadway, including the stretch near Harvard and E Olive Way, have been a focus for officials responding to community complaints about crime. As Seattle prepares for upcoming elections, community engagement remains crucial in addressing local safety and crime prevention efforts. The Capitol Hill Community Council has been active in fostering neighborhood connectivity and addressing local concerns.
