2 people shot after fight outside nightclub in downtown Seattle

Early Saturday morning, a fight outside a downtown Seattle nightclub escalated into a shooting, injuring two men. At approximately 2:30 a. m. , officers on patrol witnessed the altercation and immediately intervened, stabilizing one victim who was later hospitalized in stable condition. Another man arrived at a different hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower back, confirming he was injured in the same incident.

Police detained two suspects and recovered one firearm, while a second weapon believed to have been used in the shooting has yet to be located. The Gun Violence Reduction Unit is actively investigating the scene, cordoning off the area for further examination. Authorities are focused on determining the events that led to the shooting.
