Thurston County deputies actively pursue 27-year-old Damien Madison, who allegedly shot at a deputy with an AR-15 during a recent chase. Madison, wanted for multiple felony crimes, is classified as armed and dangerous. He was last observed near the Chehalis Western Trail, dressed in a black hat with a red bill, a black T-shirt, and sunglasses. The 8700 block of Waldrick Road has been closed due to heightened police activity in the area. The Thurston County Sheriff's Office urges citizens to avoid the vicinity and report any sightings immediately, emphasizing the importance of not approaching Madison.

This incident underscores the dangers posed by armed fugitives and the urgent need for community awareness. Madison is described as 5-foot-7, weighing 170 pounds, with brown eyes and dark hair. Local law enforcement continues to search for him, stressing the significance of public cooperation in ensuring safety.
