Seattle, WALocal News

Police searched for a tattooed suspect who attempted to rob a Chase bank on Broadway Wednesday afternoon. The robbery occurred shortly after 2:30 PM when the suspect handed a note to a teller demanding cash but fled without any loot. Employees described the suspect as a thin white male in his 50s or 60s, about 5'6" tall, wearing a dark beanie, glasses, and a blue face mask. He was also noted to have several tattoos on his face and neck and was seen holding a book as he escaped. A K9 search was conducted in the vicinity, but authorities could not locate the suspect.

Police detained a potential suspect in the area, but he was released after a witness confirmed he was not involved. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported during the incident, ensuring the safety of bank employees and customers. The failed robbery raises concerns about security at local banks and the effectiveness of area policing.
