Fugitive who gave authorities the slip at Sea-Tac last spotted at Capitol Hill Station

Sedrick Stevenson, 28, successfully evaded capture at Sea-Tac Airport on Sunday morning, escaping while handcuffed. He was being prepared to board a flight when he slipped away and was last seen at Capitol Hill Station. At about 5’8″, Stevenson wore gray pants, a white hoodie, and white shoes during his escape and is wanted on warrants out of Kentucky. The Port of Seattle confirmed his escape, noting that he was in front cuffed at the time. Security footage from Sound Transit showed him arriving at the busy light rail facility.

Local authorities are actively searching for him, with reports of a possible sighting in the area overnight. The incident has raised concerns about airport security protocols. Anyone with information is urged to contact Seattle Police immediately.
