A shooting outside a gas station on Rainier Avenue South in Seattle injured a 15-year-old teenager Friday afternoon. Police received the first reports of the incident at 1:52 p. m. , prompting a swift response from emergency crews. Upon arrival, officers found the teenager suffering from gunfire injuries and provided immediate medical assistance.

The Seattle Department of Transportation confirmed that emergency vehicles were blocking all northbound lanes on Rainier Ave S between S Forest St and S McClellan St as of 2:12 p. m. , disrupting traffic in the area.
