Driver may be charged in crash near Skyway that killed his passengers

A tragic incident unfolded near Skyway, Washington, when a one-car rollover crash claimed the lives of two passengers and left the driver injured late Sunday night. The vehicle, a 2015 Infiniti Q50, was traveling east on State Route 900 when it lost control near 57th Ave S. According to a report from the Washington State Patrol, the crash was attributed to excessive speed. The driver, a 30-year-old man from Spanaway, may face two counts of vehicular homicide for the deaths of his passengers, aged 17 and 32, both from California. Authorities confirmed that the two men died at the scene, highlighting the grave consequences of reckless driving.

The highway was blocked for approximately four hours and 40 minutes while troopers conducted their investigation. This incident raises concerns about road safety and the dangers of speeding, particularly on busy highways.
