The first incident occurred in First Hill, where a fire led to the discovery of a makeshift drug lab containing thousands of dollars' worth of magic mushrooms and cocaine. The Seattle Fire Department's hazmat team was called to the scene, and police later arrested the resident, recovering over 1,046 grams of mushrooms and a trace amount of cocaine. In a separate incident at Cal Anderson Park, officers noticed suspicious activity and arrested a suspect in possession of 101. 9 grams of fentanyl and 8.

5 grams of methamphetamine. The suspect also had $655 in cash, suggesting involvement in drug sales. Notably, the Seattle City Council has previously declared that the investigation of entheogen-related activities should be a low priority for law enforcement.
