Now under not-new ownership Lindas adds familiar faces as managing partners

Seattle, WALocal News

Linda’s Tavern, a staple of Capitol Hill nightlife, has announced the addition of Mike Leifur and Jonah Bergman as new managing partners, bringing a familiar touch to its leadership. Both partners have extensive experience in the local bar scene, having successfully operated Bait Shop since 2016, which is also part of the Derschang Group. The announcement comes as Linda’s prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary, a milestone that highlights the bar's enduring legacy in the community. Linda Derschang, the original founder, expressed her enthusiasm for the new management team, stating that their energy is essential for keeping Linda’s relevant in today's market. The transition is particularly noteworthy as the Capitol Hill area undergoes significant redevelopment, with plans for mixed-use complexes affecting local businesses.

Derschang's ongoing involvement ensures that the core values and atmosphere of Linda’s will remain intact while embracing new opportunities for growth. With a rich history tied to the local music and arts scene, Linda’s is poised to continue its role as a cultural hub in Seattle. The community is encouraged to support this iconic venue as it embarks on this new chapter.
