Teenage boy hurt during robbery in Bellevue's Newport neighborhood

A 17-year-old boy was injured during a robbery in Bellevue's Newport neighborhood on February 14, 2025, prompting an urgent police investigation. The attack took place around 5:14 a. m. in a parking lot at or near the Newporter Apartments, where the teen met three suspects. Following a brief exchange, one suspect allegedly assaulted the boy with a weapon, resulting in what appeared to be stab wounds.

The suspects quickly fled the scene, and police have not yet revealed the items taken from the victim. He was subsequently taken to Harborview Medical Center for urgent medical care. Bellevue Police Department is actively working to gather information and piece together the events leading up to the incident.
