Sunright Tea Studio Next in Line to Join Capitol Hills Burgeoning Boba Community

Seattle, WALocal News

Sunright Tea Studio is set to launch in Capitol Hill's Pride Place development, marking another milestone in the neighborhood's burgeoning boba community. This new shop, located on Broadway between Pike and Pine, will join COMEBUYTEA, which opened last year in a former Starbucks. The Pride Place development is notable for integrating elements from the historic Eldridge Tire Company, preserving the community's architectural heritage while adding modern amenities. The project aims to provide affordable housing and is LGBTQIA-friendly, further enhancing Capitol Hill's inclusive atmosphere. Alongside Sunright, a diverse array of local eateries is preparing to open, including Spice Box and Insomnia Cookies, which aligns with the neighborhood's culinary evolution.

Sunright was established by a group of Californians with Chinese backgrounds, growing from its first location in ChengDu to several spots globally. With the rise of boba shops in the area, the addition of Sunright signifies the increasing popularity of this beverage trend in Capitol Hill. As the neighborhood embraces this vibrant food culture, residents can look forward to a rich selection of tea options, solidifying Capitol Hill's reputation as a boba destination.
