Seattle City Councilmember Dan Strauss, who serves as Chair of the Select Budget Committee, has publicly thanked Mayor Bruce Harrell for his recent proposal regarding the City of Seattle’s budget for 2025-2026. In his statement, Strauss underscored the critical role of the City Council in the budget process, which involves reviewing, amending, and ultimately passing the budget. He expressed a commitment to a transparent and collaborative approach, highlighting the necessity of balancing fiscal responsibility with the community’s pressing needs.
