1.3M in drugs, guns, and more seized in 'behemoth bust' by King County deputies

King County deputies executed a significant drug bust on January 12, 2025, seizing over $1. 3 million in narcotics and firearms from a known drug trafficker. The operation targeted a distribution network that spanned from Seattle to Bremerton, with the trafficker found along Interstate 5 near Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The seizure included an impressive array of drugs: 24 pounds of cocaine, 2 pounds of ketamine, 1 pound of MDMA, and 50 pounds of processed marijuana, alongside 1,000 ecstasy pills. Additionally, law enforcement confiscated 9 firearms and $6,000 in cash, as well as a 2020 Subaru Outback.

The King County Sheriff's Office praised the extensive efforts of its detectives and deputies, who dedicated numerous hours to this investigation. The arrested individual faces serious charges, including possession with intent to sell. This incident highlights the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in the area and the commitment of local law enforcement to maintain public safety. As communities grapple with the consequences of drug-related crime, this bust marks a crucial step in addressing these pressing issues.
