Progress on Capitol Hill Light Rail Service Amid Testing for New 2 Line

Sound Transit will temporarily suspend Link light rail service between Capitol Hill and SoDo from 10 p. m. on January 17 through the end of service on January 19, 2025. This disruption is vital for conducting integrated safety tests, which include simulating over 100 emergency scenarios, crucial for the upcoming late 2025 opening of the new 2 Line.
