Seattle, WALocal News

Sound Transit Link light rail is set to suspend operations between Capitol Hill and SODO stations from 10 p. m. on January 17 through January 19, 2025, for essential testing of the new 2 line. During this service interruption, shuttle buses will be available to transport passengers approximately every 10 to 15 minutes, ensuring access to all stations in between. Southbound travelers will be required to disembark at SODO and take a shuttle to continue their journey.

In a similar manner, northbound passengers must exit at SODO and reconnect at Capitol Hill. Regular Link train service will continue every 15 minutes from both Lynnwood City Center and Angle Lake towards SODO. Riders are encouraged to allow additional time for necessary transfers between shuttles and trains. Additionally, shuttles may experience delays on January 18 between 10:30 a. m.

and 2 p. m. due to a scheduled march in the Capitol Hill area. The resumption of normal operations is expected on January 20, 2025.
