2 injured after crane tips over onto Everett Mall

A crane tipped over at the Everett Mall in Everett, Washington, on Thursday morning, injuring two construction workers. The accident took place at a building under construction, specifically at 1402 Southeast Everett Mall Way. The Everett Fire Department (EFD) reported that one worker was treated and released at the scene, while the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. Emergency services quickly responded to the situation, showcasing the effectiveness of local safety protocols in addressing workplace accidents. EFD also indicated that a second crane would be needed to lift the tipped crane and evaluate the structural damage to the building.
