S. Coast Guard quickly dispatched Petty Officer Austin Welter, who bravely entered the choppy waters to assist them. Welter noted that the man was understandably frightened, and his dog displayed clear signs of distress due to the tumultuous conditions. Thankfully, the rescue was successful, and both the man and his dog were unharmed.
