Ice skating at Occidental Square will be available from noon to six, with special events hosted by the Seattle Kraken on Sunday. The Pathway of Lights at Green Lake will dazzle visitors with thousands of luminaries, complemented by warm drinks and live music. Families can enjoy a free concert by the Monroe Community Band at the Wagner Performance Center, featuring classic carols and holiday favorites. Candy Cane Lane will host a pedestrian-only night with live music, encouraging attendees to bring donations for the University District Food Bank.

Additionally, Winterfest in Downtown Snohomish will feature a holiday market with crafts and activities for children. For horticulture enthusiasts, the Pacific Bonsai Museum will celebrate with a Winter Bonsai Solstice, offering free hot chocolate. These events not only enhance the festive spirit but also promote community engagement and support for local businesses.
