The Seattle Mariners have a new minor league affiliate team

This transition follows the sale and relocation of the Mariners' current affiliate, the Modesto Nuts, to Diamond Baseball Holdings. The 66ers, who have been affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels since 2011, will play their final season with them in 2025. The Mariners have historical ties to San Bernardino, having been affiliated with the area from 1987 to 1994 and again from 2001 to 2006.
